Many Copperleaf residents enjoy engaging in volunteer work in the community.  They live with the understanding that no one is more cherished in this world than someone who lightens the burden of another.  These are but a few of the ways our members participate: Some help out on Election Day.  Others volunteer in the local schools and hospitals, on Habitat for Humanity projects, at the Food Bank of the Bonita Springs Assistance Office and are involved in serving their community through religious and civic organizations. Harry Chapin Food Bank annually sponsors a regional Walk for Hunger.  The Copperleaf Charitable Foundation received the Harry Chapin Walk Award in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 for collecting the most donations to feed the area’s hungry. Copperleaf residents participated in the Race for the Cure. The Ladies Golf Association makes a donation each year to support finding a cure for breast cancer.  A Copperleaf Fashion Show is held each spring.  The ladies look forward to this event to see the newest fashions modeled by their friends. The proceeds from the ticket sales and raffles enable a donation to Bosom Buddies.
