The Moorings Golf and Country Club is a great community, west of U.S. 41 with some waterfront properties, and all residences are close to the beach. While there are a variety of single-family homes and condominiums from which to chose, they are not a part of a residential development associated with the club. The Moorings Golf & Country Club opened in 1963 and has an 18-hole, par-63 layout. And the course is an old Florida style layout with narrow fairways. It is shorter than most and is one of the few golf clubs in Naples that is walkable. Only one of two golf courses within the city limits of Naples.
