Conveniently located near shopping and the beach, the Moorings waterfront community in Naples borders the Naples Beach Hotel golf course to the south and the Park Shore community to the north. Uniquely designed with its own beach access, the Moorings combines magnificent Gulf views with boat docks and beach facilities just a step away from luxurious homes and high-rise condos.
 
As one of the first Naples communities to be developed back in the 50s, the Moorings offers a rich mix of original and renovated properties throughout the community. Much of the Moorings was developed on land that was filled in to create this beautiful neighborhood. Learn about the history of the Moorings. Today, stately banyan and ficus trees line the streets and help complement the larger-than-average lot sizes.
 
Whether you’re a competitive golfer or just taking a break from the beach, you can enjoy a round of golf on the rolling emerald hills of the Moorings' 18-hole par 63 course. With its close proximity to downtown and easy beach access, the Moorings community gives off a sophisticated yet laid-back vibe that appeals to its many residents.
 
The Moorings Golf and Country Club is a great community, west of U.S. 41, with some waterfront properties, and all residences are close to the beach. While there are a variety of single-family homes and condominiums from which to choose, they are not a part of a residential development associated with the club. The Moorings Golf & Country Club opened in 1963 and has an 18-hole, par-63 layout. And the course is an old Florida-style layout with narrow fairways. It is shorter than most and is one of the few golf clubs in Naples that is walkable. Only one of two golf courses within the city limits of Naples.
