Lush landscaping, cypress hammocks, protected wildlife areas, pristine wetlands and winding roadways shaded by canopies of mature palms and native oaks are integral to Pelican Landing’s design. Whatever type of home you desire is available from a cottage overlooking a golf course to a high-rise condo overlooking the Gulf. You will find within the gates of Pelican Landing, along with unparalleled amenities, a one-of-a-kind private island that must be seen to believe.
Pelican Landing is a master-planned community of 3,350 residences, spread across 2,365 acres accented by lakes and preserves.
Its landscape is colorful and lush, and its winding roadways provide shaded canopies of towering palms and native oaks. Pelican Landing has gone to great lengths to preserve and enhance the natural environment. Cypress tree hammocks, protected wildlife, and pristine wetland areas are an integral part of the community’s design.
Development began in 1989. Thirty years later, their community is fully built out except for two available lots for single-family homes in Phase I (Pelican Landing) and two parcels for condominium towers in Phase II, The Colony Golf & Bay Club. If you decide on a residence adjacent to these four parcels, you will not contend with construction noise or dust there. You won’t have to wait for trees to grow along the streets or for landscaping to fill out. Pelican Landing’s are fully developed and meticulously maintained. Nor will you need to wait for amenities that exist only in developer brochures. Their facilities have been in place for years and are updated regularly.
At Pelican Landing, you can choose from a variety of home styles — low-rise condos, attached or detached villas, cottages, estate homes, and high-rise condos with views over the Gulf of Mexico. Resale prices range from the $200s to $5 million-plus. Approximately 30 percent of their owners are full-timers; the rest are snowbirds.
Pelican Landing residents enjoy active, social lifestyles. There are two country clubs with three 18-hole golf courses between them. Pelican Landing also features a tennis center with 12 Har-Tru® courts, a fully-equipped fitness center, six pickleball courts, two bocce courts, and a community center. Residents enjoy complimentary sailing lessons as well as kayaks and canoes on Spring Creek. There are three fishing piers, a butterfly garden, and a marina on Estero Bay.
Pelican Landing’s crown jewel is an amenity that no other southwest Florida community can match. Their 34-acre island in the Gulf of Mexico with sugar-sand beaches is accessible via shuttle boat.
Access to all amenities is included, except for the country clubs and golf, with your annual HOA assessment, which also covers basic cable, internet, and 24/7 privacy.
There is nothing “cookie-cutter” about Pelican Landing. Though it is upscale, it isn’t glitzy, like many of the new communities going up in less desirable locations across Southwest Florida. The Pelican Landing Community Association is financially sound, with vast reserves to enable continuous improvements and enhancements. Their owners are accomplished individuals who are actively involved in their community, highly social, and welcoming.
You’ll feel at home the moment you drive through the gates.
